Advanced Study Institute Return Session, June 30-July 11, 2008 (dates tentative)

Application Deadline: All materials must be received by February 12, 2008.

Applications restricted to students who attended AIMS 2007 ONLY.
This application is for graduate students enrolled at U.S. INSTITUTIONS ONLY!!
Participants from Africa will be given instructions as to where to submit their applications:

Four parts to the application:
1. this electronic application form
2. a summary of post-AIMS research project (uploaded through the website, .pdf and .doc files only)
3. description of work you would like to do on return to AIMS (uploaded through the website, .pdf and .doc files only).
4. a letter of recommendation (uploaded through the website, .pdf and .doc files only)


1. Graduate Student Applicant: On-line Application

This electronic application will collect information about your background, who is writing your recommendation letter, the title of the talk you would give at AIMS, and basic information on how to contact you.


2. Graduate Student Applicant: Summary of research project coming out of the 2007 AIMS program (.pdf or .doc files only)

Submit a summary of what you have done on your project. The project team's final report will suffice.


3. Graduate Student Applicant: Statement of work you would like to do on return to AIMS (.pdf or .doc files only)

What would you like to work on at AIMS? Describe a research project or projects. It could be a continuation of your post-AIMS project or a new project.


4. Faculty Mentor: Submit Letter of Recommendation (.pdf or .doc files only)

This letter of recommendation should come from a faculty member at your home institution who worked with you on your post-AIMS project.
