DIMACS First Working Group on Phylogenetic Trees and Rapidly Evolving Diseases I, September 7 - 8, 2004.

Workshop Program:

 9:30 - 10:00 Breakfast and Registration

10:00 - 12:00 Working group and associated postdocs/students to meet
for a forum. Topics for discussion:

              1. What are the key lessons to be learnt from the preceding 2 days?

              2. What are the key areas that need further developments for
                 Trees and Pathogens?

              3. What are the strategies to develop these areas?

12:00 - 1:00 Lunch

 1:00 - 2:30 Continuation

              4. What is needed (skills, hardware, data) to develop these areas?

              5. What does the future hold for the interaction between phylogenetics
                 and molecular epidimology?

 2:30 Close of working group
