Abstract:

We combine a result based on Stein's method for normal approximations requiring a coupling construction, with a dynamic setup provided by a Markov structure that suggests natural coupling variables. Applications to the anti-voter model, to various counts on random graphs and certain statistical applications will be given. (Joint work with V Rotar).
