DIMACS Mixer Series - Oct 6, 1997

DIMACS invites you to its Fall Mixer Series. All DIMACS members, visitors, postdocs, and students are invited to join us on Monday, October 6 at AT&T's new site at Florham Park.

The program will begin at 10:30 in room B104 at AT&T Labs, which is near the front entrance where visitors to AT&T will have to sign in. Directions to Florham Park are listed below.

In order to plan for the luncheon and to notify the guards that you are coming, please RSVP to David Johnson (dsj@research.att.com). Those who do not RSVP are still be welcome, but we would appreciate your letting us know your intentions in advance.

Directions to Florham Park

From Route 287 

       Take Route 287 to Exit 36A (Morris Avenue) 
       Proceed East to Highway 510 (Columbia Turnpike) 
       Continue East on Columbia Turnpike to Park Avenue 
       Make a right onto Park Avenue 
       Continue to the fourth traffic light 
       Make a left into the Exxon complex 
       Stop at main gate and then follow the small bumper 
       sticker sized signs to the AT&T Building (Building 103) 


From the George Washington Bridge 

       Take NJ Turnpike (95) South to Route 78 West (Exit 14) 
       Continue with directions from 78 West 


From the Garden State Parkway 

       From the North: Take Garden State Parkway to 78 West. 
       This becomes 24 West. 
       From the South: Take Garden State Parkway to 78 (East) - use 
       rightmost toll booths. 
       Immediately take first exit on 78 East for U-turn to 78 West 

From Newark Airport 

       Take 78 West 

From 78 West 

       Stay right on 78 West, exiting to 24 West 
       Take 24 West to 510 W (Exit 2A Morristown) to Park Avenue (1st light) 
       Make a left turn onto Park Avenue 
       Continue to the fourth traffic light 
       Make a left into the Exxon complex 
       Stop at main gate and then follow the ver small bumper-sticker 
       sized signs to the AT&T Building (Building 103) 



From Murray Hill 

       Leave from the front of MH 
       Right onto Mountain Avenue 
       Left onto South Avenue at the first light 
       As you cross the main intersection (Springfield Ave.), South Avenue 
       becomes Passic Avenue 
       Follow Passaic out of New Providence as it bears right 
       Left onto Southern Blvd. at the light (the base of a steep hill) 
       As you continue on Southern Blvd. it becomes Green Village Road 
       as you enter Madison. 
       Continue on green Village until you reach a "T" intersection
       (just after you have driven under the train tracks). This is Main
       Street (Route 124) 
       in Madison. 
       At the "T" turn left and then bear right (at the first light) onto 
       Park Avenue. 
       Continue on Park until you get to the Main Entrance to Exxon
       Make a right into the Exxon complex 
       Stop at main gate and then follow the signs to the AT&T Building 
       (Building 103) 
       (These signs are not particularly clear. They are small bumper sticker 
        size signs on the directional markers)
