Title: The Distinguishing Number of a Graph

Speaker: Michael Fisher, West Chester University

Date: Thursday, April 16, 2009 5:00pm

Location: Hill Center, Room 705, Rutgers University, Busch Campus, Piscataway, NJ

Abstract:

In this talk, I will look at families of graphs whose distinguishing number is known and discuss some of the strategies that have been used to compute this parameter. If time permits, I will also talk about the related concept of the distinguishing number of a group.
