Title: Noncommutative Laurent Phenomenon

Speaker: **Vladimir Retakh**, Rutgers University

Date: Thursday, February 16, 2012 5:00pm

Location: Hill Center, Room 705, Rutgers University, Busch Campus, Piscataway, NJ

Abstract:

I will discuss the Laurent phenomenon for noncommuting
variables. A good example is the cluster conjecture of
Kontsevich. I will present a proof of the conjecture
recently obtained by A. Berenstein and me.
