Graduate Student Award in
Computational Molecular Biology


Funded by Celera Genomics/Applied Biosystems and awarded each year of the DIMACS Special Focus on Computational Molecular Biology (Sept. 2000 - August 2004), the award is aimed at recognizing outstanding achievements of young people in the field. Winners are invited to present a talk at a DIMACS workshop with expenses paid.

Nominations are made by letter of recommendation from mentors and should include an indication of which upcoming workshop the award would be most appropriate for. A list of workshops can be found at http://dimacs.rutgers.edu/archive/Workshops/index-compmolecbiol.html. Nominations should be sent by email to Christine Spassione at DIMACS (spassion@dimacs.rutgers.edu) by the deadline date:

First Year Competition:

Workshops during the period December 2000 - November 2001.
Nomination Deadline: November 10, 2000.
