DIMACS 2002-2011 Special Focus on Computational and Mathematical Epidemiology

DIMACS/BIOMAPS Seminar Series on Quantitative Biology and Epidemiology 2003 -2004

We are pleased to announce the DIMACS/BIOMAPS Seminar Series on Quantitative Biology and Epidemiology. The goal is to present talks on matters relating to disease, its spread, transmission, containment, or related questions, if possible with a computational or mathematical flavor. The series is presented under the auspices of the DIMACS 2002-2010 Special Focus on Computational and Mathematical Epidemiology, and more information can be found at http://dimacs.rutgers.edu/SpecialYears/2002_Epid.

The program for the Spring 2004 Semester is now mostly full, but there may be some availabilities, so if you or anyone you know would like to give a seminar, then please contact the organizers, Graham Cormode (graham@dimacs.rutgers.edu) or Patrick DeLeenheer (leenheer@dimacs.rutgers.edu).

The series is being run in conjunction with the BIOMAPS (Biological, Mathematical and Physical Sciences) Seminar Series here at Rutgers. The main sponsor of each event is listed in the program.

Location and Time

All seminars will be held in 260 Hill Center, Busch Campus at Rutgers University unless otherwise noted. The seminar will be at 1pm, with a brown bag lunch beforehand.
