We are planning a volume on "Bioconsensus" to be published by the American Mathematical Society in the DIMACS book series and edited by the workshop organizers. Papers can be based on presentations at the Bioconsensus I or Bioconsensus II workshops or on other work you think is relevant.
We are especially interested in expository papers, but would also welcome original research. All papers will be refereed, though it is our intention to ask the referees to be constructive in their comments. We will also solicit additional papers from those who have not been able to attend the workshops but whom we feel have something important to contribute to what will almost surely the first book devoted to this field.
We would like to receive your paper as soon as possible, but in any case no later than December 1, 2001.If at all possible, papers should be prepared in the DIMACS series format (amstex or amslatex). For additional information see: http://www.ams.org/tex/author-info.html. If this causes you any problems, please just submit your paper in word or latex or any other form and we will have it put into the DIMACS series style.
Manuscripts may be sent to any of the workshop organizers. Further information may be obtained from Mel Janowitz (melj@dimacs.rutgers.edu). It would help us a great deal in planning this volume if you could send us a notice of intent if you plan a submission.
