The DNA Barcode Data Analysis
Initiative (DBDAI):
Developing Tools for a New Generation of Biodiversity Data
DIMACS, in partnership with the Data Analysis Working Group (DAWG) of the Consortium for the Barcode of Life (CBOL), solicits the submission of abstracts for presentation at a workshop at the National Museum of Natural History in Paris on 6-8 July 2006. Approximately 30 abstracts will be selected for inclusion in the workshop agenda by the DAWG Steering Committee. Preference will be given to abstracts submitted by graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and faculty and researchers in the early stages of their careers.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 2 June 2006. Abstracts and the accompanying information specified below should be emailed as attachments to Lindac@dimacs.rutgers.edu. Please name the file you submit using the following convention: DAWGAbst – LastName.
REVIEW CRITERIA AND PROCESS:
The DAWG Steering Committee will review all submitted abstracts and will inform all applicants of decisions by June 23, 2006. The Committee will accept abstracts for inclusion in the workshop using the following criteria:
Abstracts should be prepared with Microsoft Word and should fit on a single page (either letter size or A4) with 1” margins using Times New Roman 11 point font.
