Pre- and Post-Conference Tour Information:

We are trying to see if we can put groups together for pre- or post-conference tours, either a one day tour in the Johannesburg area or a two or three day "safari" for animal viewing, or some historical tours of interest. Here are three examples of tours that we think are of interest:

A. KRUGER NATIONAL PARK SAFARI

B. SOWETO Tours

C. CRADLE OF HUMAN KIND, STERKFONTEIN CAVES & MINI SAFARI

Please return to this site occasionally if you are interested and we will post updated information. Please let Christine Spassione (spassion@dimacs.rutgers.edu) know if you are interested and she will try to coordinate groups. Or, you may make your own arrangements. The university has recommended a local travel agency, Jimmy's Face to Face Tours, that specializes in such tours. We offer this recommendation second-hand, and any arrangements you make directly with them are of course just between you and them.
