We are trying to see if we can put groups together for pre- or post-conference tours, either a one day tour in the Johannesburg area or a two or three day "safari" for animal viewing, or some historical tours of interest. Here are three examples of tours that we think are of interest:
A. KRUGER NATIONAL PARK SAFARI

INCLDUES: transport, guide, dinner bed and breakfast, accomodation

PICK UP: Wherever - but a surcharge for it not being in Sandton or Rosebank. Our group would be close to those, so surcharge to be confirmed - should be below R75.
RETURN: variable - but late afternoon rather than evening is normal
ACCOMODATION: variable, as possible to arrange on notice given. NOT guaranteed within boundaries of Kruger park, but would then be very close.
CONFIRMATION NEEDED: 2-3 days will do - longer notice means better accomodation. Minimum two people needed.
PAYMENT: credit card info can be supplied as late as on the day, using the cell phone of the driver - but I'm guessing they will be more motivated to lock in good accomodation if they are paid earlier.
