Limited financial support is expected to be available. How much we offer will depend on funds we raise for this purpose and on the number of applications received and might have to be limited to waiver of registration fees for some of the participants.
Deadline for Applications: May 24, 2002
The registration fee is $200 for the 4-day tutorial. Graduate students, postdocs and DIMACS Members pay $95 for the 4 days. The registration fee will be collected on site using cash, check, Visa or Mastercard. Registration fees cover two meals a day, breaks, and all workshop materials.
A $50 registration fee, refundable up to 2 weeks before the start of the tutorial, will hold your place. Please make check payable to: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and send to:

Your registration will be confirmed upon receipt of your check. Registration is first come, first served and is limited to 100 people.
Registration for the tutorial is usually open only to those who will stay for the entire time and attendees will be charged the full fee for the tutorial. However, if you wish to come for only part of the tutorial, you need to get permission for a waiver of the full fee. Please send a request along with an explanation to the Workshop Coordinator.
Parking permits will be available at the registration table on the day of the workshop.
Attendees who have been offered travel support should keep two rules in mind. Reimbursement for air travel can only be made for travel on US Flag Carriers, REGARDLESS OF COST. (For example, travel on airlines such as United, Continental, USAir, and others that are United States based are allowable. Travel on airlines such as Lufthansa, SAS, Air Canada and other airlines based outside the US cannot be reimbursed by DIMACS.)
The second rule to keep in mind is to get original receipts for all reimbursable expenses.
