DIMACS Workshop on Evolution as Computation

January 11 - 12, 1999
Princeton University

Organizers:
Laura Landweber, Princeton University, lfl@princeton.edu
Erik Winfree, Caltech, winfree@hope.caltech.edu
Richard Lipton, Princeton University, rjl@cs.princeton.edu
Stephen Freeland, Cambridge University, sjf23@cam.ac.uk
Presented under the auspices of the DIMACS Special Focus on DNA Computing.

Call for Participation:

The deadline for submission of camera-ready papers is December 12, 1998. All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed for oral or poster presentation. Please use the DIMACS author package available from the AMS at http://www.ams.org/tex/author-info.html. For instructions using microsoft word, contact lfl@princeton.edu. Electronic submissions should be sent to evocomp@bramble.princeton.edu.

Authors should be aware that because of the interdisciplinary audience, syntheses and reviews of fundamental results are solicited in addition to new research in biological or computer science. Also, it is especially important to define common terms and to differentiate clearly among perspective, analogy, and proven results.

Limited financial support will be available for travel, especially for students and postdoctoral fellows.
