Toshiba America Foundation:
Grants: Grant funds to implement projects. No in-kind gifts.

Target Group: Science and Math educators for grades 7-12.
Description: Toshiba America Foundation funds math and science projects
for grades 7-12 (youngsters age 12-18) for the improvement of in-class,
academic year curriculum. High priority is placed on projects initiated
by educators which propose to implement or adapt a national education
program to local needs. Toshiba Foundation is not looking for "'models,'
experimental units and projects that are 'unique' or necessarily 'high
tech'. Projcts implemented must have the student as a primary
beneficiary; ie., no support for teacher training, curriculum
development, equipment requests, or general operating costs. No computer
funding. Requests for calculators are limited to $1600.

Deadline for completed applications: No deadlines for grants under
$5000. For requests over $5000, deadlines are February 1 and August 1

Greenville Foundation:
Grants: Grants range from $1000-$25,000
Target Group: Schools in WA, OR, CA, AZ
Description: Elementary and secondary schools may apply for support
for projects that support K-12 education and promote innovation and
reform. Write to the Greenville Foundation for guidelines and
application Forms.

Coca-Cola Foundation:
Grants: Funding for smaller projects
Target Group: A teacher or group of teachers
Description: Smaller projects for a short term and dealing with
specific activities in the elementary and secondary classroom are of
interest to the Foundation. Such proposals need not utilize the formal
application form but may be submitted in a letter of no more than three
pages.
