This conference is geared towards exposing faculty teaching undergraduates to two current research topics relevant to the classroom and involving them in writing materials useful in the classroom.

This conference is also aimed at reconnecting faculty to the mathematical sciences enterprise by involving them in a leading research center which is a consortium of Princeton University, Rutgers University, AT&T, Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore), Bell Labs/Lucent Technologies and NEC Research. There will be opportunities to follow up after the conference by getting connected to DIMACS researchers and other DIMACS programs throughout the year.
