Hi Gang!

I checked my e-mail just before I left school and had 28 messages! I
didn't have time to read them so this is not a response to what anyone
said/asked.

I haven't done anything yet with Voronoi diagrams with my geometry
students. I have them do individual projects in May and thought I
might present this as a "model" for them of what I expect in their
presentations. They each have just one class period (48 minutes) to
present their topic.

If anyone still needs a second person to "test" their lesson plan and
if it can be done with 9th and 10th graders I'd be glad to do that for
you. Otherwise I'll just do my own thing.

Also, if any of you have some good materials or sources for
information on any of the topics listed below, I'd appreciate hearing
from you. I have the Math Forum, etc. but other web sites would be
welcome. These are the topics my students have chosen for their
projects:

Architecture
topology
nature
optical illusions
projective geometry
perspective
curve sketching
bubbleology
geodesics
map color problem
fractals
Fibonacci
soma cubes
palindromes
spirolaterals
billiards
games and puzzles (geometric)
coordinate geometry
surveying
nine-point circle
golden ratio
tessellations
locus
sports

Thanks!
P.S. Don't just hit reply...it will bounce back. Use my dimacs
address or the school one I gave you.
