I would love to improve the graph editing capabilities in all
sorts of ways, including snap-to-grid, point & click on
colormaps to set default colors, etc. I have been hoping that
some general "MacDraw"-style editing package will be developed
for STk so we can just inherit it, but barring that, hopefully
progress can be made anyway.

For those thinking of putting development effort into graph
editing, I would strongly suggest learning STklos and actually
modifying the LINK interface to make it do what you want it to
(rather than writing stand-alone programs to modify .g files).
