There is a new version of Link available from the Link web site:
http://dimacs.rutgers.edu
Aside from the source distribution, binaries are available for
SunOS4.1.X, Solaris2.X, and Linux2.0.X. I hope that this will give some
more people a chance to see the system in operation.

First on the Link agenda for this summer is improved documentation on
using and extending the system. With the better documentation, we will
be able to propose more student projects and start augmenting the
algorithm, generator, and layout libraries. Second on the agenda is
exploring portability of STk and Link to Codewarrior, which can produce
Windows and Mac executables.

The process of compiling standalone applications using Link's libraries
has been tested quite a bit lately, and my students don't seem to have
much trouble with it.
