That's good news. Unfortunately, Link apparently still depends on the old
STk30, which must be compiled, and is not particularly compatible with
Linux2.0.X. It worked, but it took many hours of trying various
things (including reading the archives of the STk mailing list to
see what others had done to get it to work) before it did.
The binaries for STk3.1.1 for Linux are available, and it ran on my Linux
2.0.29 system after expanding the two required files from the
/usr/local/lib directory. This is far easier than tracking down the
modifications required to get 3.0 to compile correctly.

As I'm sure you know, STk3.1 has already been ported to Win95. Getting
it to run required no more than extracting the .tgz file with
Winzip and setting the STK_LIBRARY environment variable.
As a user who prefers not to spend time hacking makefiles, but who
does use a lot of different kinds of software, I'd vote for making
Link compatible with STk3.1.1. The potential user base might be
considerably enlarged if no compilation at all were required.
