Installing Link on Win95

I just downloaded the version of Link for Windows onto my PC. The
contents of my download consisted of just a single .exe file which I have
been unable to execute. When I run the program in DOS mode, I get the
error message: "This program cannot be run in DOS mode". When I run it
in Win95, my machine opens up a DOS window, and gives me the same error
message. Do I need to set some environment variables, or create a .pif
file? Thanks in advance.
