Projections at different angles provide information for the Radon Transform of the object. Each projection is a slice of the complete Fourier Transform, as explained by the Fourier Slice Theorem. Use of filtered backprojection and the inverse Fourier Transform can reconstruct the original image. This project was an exploration into the use of wavelets as filters, rather than sinusoids.
