Abstract:
The On-Line Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences (or OEIS - see https://oeis.org) is a free database of number sequences containing 350,000 entries. We get 100 new submissions every day, often from non-mathematicians, and these are a wonderful source of problems to work on. I will give a tour of the database, including showing you how to look at the recent submissions (go to https://oeis.org/draft, but register first). There will be a hands-on demonstration of the pleasures of studying what has arrived in the past few days.
