- Abstract:
Starting from one of the well-known reformulations of the 4-color theorem, I'll show some experiments I did concerning proper 4-colorings of the sphere triangulations in which the maximum number of triangles around a vertex is 6. I haven't made much progress on understanding all the solutions but I will show off a nice infinite family that gives a novel geometric interpretation of continued fractions.
