- Abstract:
The ordinary partition function is believed to take even values approximately half the time. However, the best results known in this regard are far from confirming this belief. In fact, it was not until 1959 when it was shown that this function takes even (odd) values infinitely often. We discuss results in this spirit for certain restricted partition functions.
