- Abstract:
In a parking function of length n, the order in which the cars park is called a parking permutation. For each parking function, cars that park in their preferred spot are called lucky cars. In this talk, we enumerate parking permutations that avoid a specified set of permutation patterns of length three and whose lucky cars are the first k cars. Often, the enumeration simplifies to just a fraction times a binomial coefficient. This is joint work with Melani Ferreri.
