- Abstract:
Ramsey theory is a fascinating and highly-connected area of study in mathematics. Its problems are often easy to pose but surprisingly difficult to answer. I will introduce some of the basic problems in Ramsey theory and some of the historical context. I'll also say a few things about my own research and some of the methods I use to compute some Ramsey-theoretic quantities.
