DIMACS and the Rutgers Center for Cognitive Science (RuCCS) are pleased to announce a joint center Mixer on AI and Cognition on Friday, December 4, from 1-4 pm. The Mixer will be informal, featuring 1-2 keynote talks and a series of one-minute flash talks by our center members, followed by a lively social gathering.
The primary goal is to spark interdisciplinary collaborations on research projects and a grant proposal involving researchers around campus who conduct novel and exciting research that combines AI or data science with cognitive science.
A secondary goal is simply to introduce more people to DIMACS and RuCCS and grow our visibility on campus.
Rutgers Mathematical and Physical Sciences Dean Matthew Stone has encouraged DIMACS to run a series of AI+X events like this and will sponsor the event.
