  • Project Abstract: In this project, I mainly explored how the hardness of one way functions is preserved. In particular, given a certain circuit C that computes a one way function that has certain hardness, what can one say about the existence of circuits that compute one way functions that are harder? We investigated a possible approach to prove lower bounds on the hardness of one way functions whose existence is implied by the existence of the circuit C.
