Submission instructions:

This one-day workshop is designed for researchers who aspire to participate in NSF's Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (SaTC) program. The workshop is by invitation only, and is eligible for participation by people with research interests in secure and trustworthy computing who are not currently funded by SaTC or any of its predecessor programs (Trustworthy Computing and/or Cyber Trust), and who did not participate in the 2012 workshop. If you are eligible for participation, to be considered for an invitation, please submit a single pdf document consisting of:

1-2 pages describing your research interests and a potential project that you are thinking of submitting to SaTC
your NSF-style CV (see http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/policydocs/pappguide/nsf14001/gpg_2.jsp#IIC2f)

Applications to participate are made via EasyChair at https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=satcaspire2014. Note: EasyChair allows for multiple authors, but our submissions are for individuals, so you should be the only author for your submission. For the title of your submission, please use your name, job title, department, and institution. For the abstract, please describe your potential project in no more than 1000 characters. The paper should consist of up to two pages describing your project concatenated with your 1- to 2-page NSF-style CV (for a total of no more than four pages).

Note: these submissions will not be made public, even for accepted participants. They are solely for the purpose of making participation decisions. Decisions will be made subject to available space, based on relevance to SaTC. If there is more demand for the workshop than we can accommodate, prioritization will be given to new faculty and faculty/researchers who have submitted NSF SaTC proposals but have not been funded by SaTC, with consideration given to covering a diverse range of SaTC-related topics, personal backgrounds, and institutions.
