tilings and toilets

This late-breaking story just in...

the 4/22/97 "Globe and Mail" reports that Sir Roger Penrose (of Penrose
tiling fame, of course) discovered a copyright infringement on the use
of his tilings, when his wife brought home a pack of Kleenex Quilted
toilet paper and discovered it was embossed with Penrose Tiling.
According to David Bradley, director of Pentaflex (which hold the
exclusive rights) "When it comes to the population of Britain being
invited by a multi-national company to wipe their bottoms on the work of
a Knight of the Realm, then a last stand must be made."

Cheers!

Chuck
