Postdoctoral Fellowship Application Procedures:

1. DEADLINES:

NOTE: DIMACS does not expect to have many postdoctoral positions for the coming year. We expect to have one position in theoretical computer science, joint with the Institute for Advanced Study, and several postdoctoral positions tied to specific projects, often of an applied nature, or with other partner institutions. We often do not finalize these positions until quite late in the academic year. We urge applicants to be patient. If a new position opens up, we will look over applications and contact applicants whose background seems appropriate.

2. APPLICATION CHECKLIST:

• Application with contact information. (please DO NOT send the AMS cover sheet as a substitute).
  
• Curriculum vitae or resume that includes list of publications.
• Research and teaching statement (2 pages maximum).
  Please provide a research statement describing your research interests, results, and plans for the future. Optionally, this can also include a teaching statement describing your teaching philosophy (in the same document). Note that some of our postdoc positions have a teaching requirement or a teaching option; if you wish to be considered for those, please include the teaching statement.
• Three letters of recommendation.
