Following up on a projects started in the Experimental Mathematics class we uncovered a potentially new Combinatorial approach to investigating properties of Numbers. The approach rests on the observation that numbers can be identified with familiar combinatorial objects namely rooted trees. The bijection between numbers and trees provides some insights into unexpected connexions between Number theory, combinatorics and discrete probability theory.
