For 11th and 12th grade, I have used (and recommend) the
Tannenbaum/Arnold book "Excursions in Modern Mathematics" from Prentice
Hall. I alsao keep a refernce set of the Crisler/Froelich/Fisher
"Discrete Math Through Applications" or whatever the real title is,
because some of the activities are really good, even though the text is
hard to use. Of course, deep in my heart of hearts, I worked the last 2
years with no teaxt except the reference set, and that was the best. i
used stuff from COMAO, stuff I'd collected over the years from the
Leadership Program, videos from "for All Practical Purposes", and a whole
bunch of little stuff from various problem settings which I used to drive
the lesson content.
