Follow-up on Scot's response

Hi all -
I liked Scot's response re what "could have happened but did not". And
I have an example some of you may relate to that might be helpful. If you
ever go to a casino, the reason they do not like card counters is exactly
what Scot refers to -- viz., that the people who do so are now aware of the
change in the probability of the various blackjack possibilities. As certain
cards are removed, what could have happened no longer can. For those so
inclined, see the book "Beat the Dealer" by Thorp.
