Put the Standards into Action in Your Classroom!
Mathematics Standards-Based Workshops for Teachers of Grades K-4
There are eight workshops for K-4 grade teachers based on New Jersey's
core curriculum content standards. Each workshop focuses on one or
two standards; together the eight workshops address all of the
mathematics standards.
Each of the eight K-4 workshops is offered three times in June - in
the northern, central, and southern areas if the state.

Five of these workshops will be given exclusively for K-2 grade
teachers in August; each workshop will be offered at three sites. In
August and October, we will offer newly developed
ESPA-based workshops for teachers of grades 3 and 4.
Each workshop is a half-day workshop - running from either 8:45 to
11:45 a.m. or 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Participants may attend either one
or two workshops on any day.
Following are titles of the eight workshops - the code for each
workshop begins with "P" for "primary". That code should be entered
on the Registration Form.
