Information for Submitting a Workshop Paper
To be considered for presenting in the VRP Implementation Challenge Workshop or to be admitted to the final round of the competition (for applicable variants) participants must submit a paper for review by the organizing committee.
The submitted paper should be in article format and should describe the methods used as well as the results obtained. The document should be limited to 6 pages, not including possible appendices with detailed tables of results.
Participants are welcome to submit papers heavily based on work they have previously published elsewhere, as long as they are clearly marked as such. Selection criteria for workshop papers include algorithm performance (to include solution quality, speed, and breadth of solver capability), originality, presentation, and overall assessment.
All accepted papers will be invited for presentation at the workshop and will be posted on the VRP Challenge webpage as a resource to all participants and the broader community.
We will provide a general template for submissions at a later date.
Information for Submitting to a Journal Special Issue
Journal-quality papers may be submitted to a journal special issue associated with the VRP Challenge.
All papers submitted for journal publication should be of substantially new content and not published elsewhere. All submissions will be subject to the journal's review process and must meet its standards for publication through its normal review process.
Specific details on the journal and process are forthcoming.
